<p>On the biggest stage in basketball, in New York City, Illinois pulled off a massive comeback upset win over #2 Texas 85-78 in overtime. Craig Choate and Logan Lee discuss in this Illini Postgame Show from No One Asked Us.</p> <p>The Illini were paced by Matthew Mayer early on, scoring 15 points in the first half on the way to a regular season career high 21. Illinois was behind by ten with eight minutes left in the game, and down five with under a minutes left, but still forced overtime. In the extra frame Terrence Shannon caught fire and scored 12 of his 16 points.</p> <p>It’s back to Big Ten play for Illinois on Saturday, hosting Penn State for a matinee.
