The song “One Nation Under A Groove” was referring to dancing as a way to freedom. Today people still want freedom and believe in fighting for it. <br /><br />When I was a little girl, George Clinton’s music seemed a little strange to me in the 70’s. He knew things I didn’t. But looking at the world today, I understand rebellion and what might have inspired George. Still, his reason for writing the song may not have been political. But when I see what’s going on in the world today, I hear George better than I ever did before. And also, you have to be careful what you say. I hope you understand.
