HSE Set To Enhance Capacity Of Clare CAMHS Facilities

A Clare Independent TD Claims the enhancement of the county's mental health facilities will provide a major morale boost to the county's CAMHS staff. The Health Service Executive has announced its intention to reconfigure its Quin Road Site with the capacity for nine bookable clinical spaces. Additionally ten further spaces are set to come on stream at the Spindle unit of St.Joseph's Hospital in Ennis, while the East Clare CAMHS team is expected to take up residence at the Inis Ghile building in Parteen by March of next year. Kilrush Deputy Violet Anne Wynne is confident the developments will be a strong first step in improving mental healthcare in the county.
