Jessica has had a fascinating life and career and gives real insight into her approach and writing process.</p> <p>Jessica has been a butcher in Alaska, an unlicensed masseuse in Poland, and a secretary in San Francisco. Her first book was The Convalescent and she also collaborated on graphic novel, Chopsticks. In 2017, while writing her new book <em>Enter the Aardvark</em>, Jessica worked as "Bridge Guard," guarding the Maria Valeria Bridge in a remote part of Slovakia.
