How to Overcome the Fear of Failure

Trauma sensitizes the amygdala to threat perception, and fear responses are triggered over time by less and less stress. &nbsp;</p> <p>Specifically, over 90% of trauma survivors suffer anxiety disorders, with the most prevalent anxiety disorders experienced by survivors being Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Social Phobia (or Social Anxiety Disorder). &nbsp;</p> <p>The underlying feeling of anxiety is fear, and the most common types of fears people experience are:&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of failure&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of the unknown&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of rejection&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of what others think&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of being an embarrassment&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of losing control&nbsp;</p> <p>- Fear of being trapped &nbsp;</p> <p>It is not difficult to see how change and doing something new can trigger many of these fears! &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>In this episode, I share a Q&amp;A I had with a TRIBE member on her question, "How do I overcome the fear of failure?" <a href="https://lifeisloveschool.krtra.com/t/eOoLIF68TgXc" target="_blank">TRIBE is Life Is Love School's women-only membership program</a>.
