Have a Financial Goal.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Like anything in life it's best to start with WHY?</p> <p><br></p> <p>What is your motivation?</p> <p><br></p> <p>In the word's of the Legendary Investor Warren Buffett&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>"If you don't learn to make your money work for you while you&nbsp;</p> <p>sleep you will work until you die"</p> <p><br></p> <p>To me that is a really POWERFUL motivator as traditional Schools&nbsp;</p> <p>Teach people how to work for money but not how to make your&nbsp;</p> <p>money work for you.&nbsp;</p> <p>---------------</p> <p>Remember INVESTING IS A TOOL (Slide)&nbsp;</p> <p>To help you achieve your financial goals that could be to retire early, become fiancially</p> <p>free young or even buy a new house or car.</p> <p><br></p> <p>You goal is personal to you.&nbsp;</p> <p>** 2. Understand your Risk Tolerance</p> <p><br></p> <p>What is your risk tolerance?</p> <p><br></p> <p>Would you get nervous if you invested into a stock &amp; it dropped by 20-30%.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Would you be tempted to panic &amp; sell during a market crash?</p> <p><br></p> <p>These are only questions you can answer but</p> <p><br></p> <p>If you want to be successful in the stock market you need to remember</p> <p><br></p> <p>that RISK IS NOT VOLATILITY.</p> <p>Volatility is how much a stock moves up &amp; down over a given period.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Risk is the likelihood of loss of investment.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Thus despite the stock market being VOLATILE as in the SHORT TERM IT IS POWERED</p> <p>by the collective EMOTIONS of FEAR &nbsp;&amp; GREED.</p> <p><br><
