First, he hired an office manager that would handle HR and systematize everything they were doing in the business. After that, he hired a general manager to take care of hiring both divisions of the business. Finally, he looked for someone that could assist him in marketing and sale for tasks like managing outsource vendors and content teams.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;"><span style= "font-weight: bold;">Pay people what they’re worth.</span> As Roger’s first mentor used to say, <a href= "https://jasonswenk.com/successful-agency-sales-team/" target= "_blank" rel="noopener">the salary you pay someone</a> is what keeps them at their desk and the money that you pay them after that is what you pay them to help you earn more.
