Hosanna! The Why of Easter - Pastor Jeffrey Nsofor

<p>The word <em>"Hosanna"</em> is a Greek word which in Hebrew is classed as <em>"Hoshiya na!"</em>. In English, this is expressed as "Save, Please!". The children of Israel for a long time have been expecting the messiah because they believe that at the coming of the messiah, their suffering and bondage will be over!</p> <p>There is a strong correlation between the Exodus and Hosanna. Moses led the Israelite to their earthly promised land but the coming of Jesus Christ (the messiah) leads to the eternal promised land - Heaven. Easter is a reminder that God had answered the cry - Hosanna! (Save us!). In this episode, the benefits of Easter are explored in great details.
