"HooDoo Love" with Jean-Remy Monnay

Black Theatre Troup of Upstate New York' founder Jean-Remy Monnay introduces his newest production of "HooDoo Love" playing at Capital Rep in Albany. In conversation with Hudson Mohawk Magazines Andrea Cunliffe they talk of the the Black Theatre Troupe of Upstate NY’s mission is to present compelling theatrical experiences that create community dialogue and give voice to societal concerns as they relate to racial injustice and black trauma. "HooDoo Love" , set in 1933 in Memphis , is a tale of love, magic, jealousy and secrets. Written in vivid language that captures the blues, Hoodoo Love is a major debut.
