Your word is your bond. That is all you need. Don't swear oaths on anything. As a Christian, your word is already bound by Christ. Therefore, swearing an oath on something else means that you are putting your trust in something less than Christ. Don't do that.<br><br> Of course, there may be times when you need to swear an earthly oath to hold an office or a position. That is okay. But you must remember who you represent when you do that.
