In Ep 14 we discuss the history of two of the oldest and most beautiful Victorian-era cemeteries in Los Angeles Evergreen Cemetary in Boyle Heights (1877) and Angeles Rosedale Cemetary (1884)near the West Adams/USC area.  We share stories about unlikely deaths and events that occurred at the cemeteries, notable people such as Phineas Banning, Shatto, Allensworth, Biddy Mason, Hattie McDaniel, the Bixby's, the mysterious circus performers, famous activists, and more.
