<p> </p> <p>HIGH WIND WARNING WEDNESDAY Today a deep cut-off upper-level low develops over the northern Plains and ushers in a cold front with gusty north winds midday. Winds gusting 60+ mph across the area and low RH will result in Red Flag Warnings along with the wind. A few widely scattered light rain showers are possible in the afternoon with highs around 60 and lows below freezing. Tomorrow will continue to have the high wind, elevated fire conditions and cooler temps in the lower 50’s. Thursday and Friday a large blocking high-pressure develops over the Rockies with down-sloping northwest flow over the area keeping things dry and fire conditions elevated. Thursday’s temps remain cooler around 50’s and lows in 20’s warming into low 60’s Friday. Saturday the pattern changes with a trough deepening out west and breezy southwest flow moves over the area.</p>
