He’s my idol – Endrick chooses between Messi, Ronaldo

<p>Brazilian youngster, Endrick has picked Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo over Argentina’s Lionel Messi.</p>, <p>The 17-year-old, who is set to join Real Madrid next summer, said Ronaldo is his idol.</p>, <p>Endrick recently made his senior debut for the Brazil national team against Colombia in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier 2-1 defeat against Colombia.</p>, <p>He will hope to feature for Brazil when they face Messi-led Argentina in their next qualifier on Tuesday.</p>, <p>Speaking ahead of the match, Endrick was asked to choose between Messi and Ronaldo.</p>, <p>The forward said (via GOAL): “I just want to enjoy the moment of being able to play against him Messi, being in the same stadium as him, looking at him up close, I only saw him in the video game.</p>, <p>“Messi is a great player, but I am more of a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. Now I am seeing Messi up close, it is going to be wonderful.”</p>, <p>He added, “My dream since I was little, has always been to play for Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of my biggest idols. So it is a great pride to know that I will wear the same shirt he wore.”</p>
