Heike Merker - All Quiet on the Western Front

On this episode, I spoke to makeup and hair designer Heike Merker about her work on All Quiet on the Western Front. Merker is a 2x Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Award nominee for Crazy Rich Asians, where she is also a winner for Best Contemporary Hair Styling - Feature-Length Motion Picture for the project. With All Quiet on the Western Front, Merker was a winner at the European Film Awards for European Makeup and Hair. Merker’s work has also been shortlisted at the Oscars and longlisted at the BAFTAs. All Quiet on the Western Front was directed by Edward Berger.
