Hamas reports 20,000 deaths in Gaza

<p>A UN Security Council vote on a resolution calling for a suspension of fighting in Gaza has been delayed for a third day. Diplomats have been trying to come up with a text that would avoid a US veto. President Biden has said the world must put pressure on Hamas, not just Israel. The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again stressed his commitment to continuing the offensive until Hamas is destroyed.
