Gospel of Mark - Mark 15:33-38 - Prog 76

<p>It was the 6th hour by Jewish reckoning, 12 noon and darkness covered the whole land. Jesus is on the cross. </p><p> Mark records that at the 9th hour, that is 3pm, Jesus cried out to God asking why He had forsaken Him, quoting Psalm 22:1. </p><p> Dr. Mitchell gives us the benefit of the death of Christ found in Romans 3:24-26. Jesus became and still is the propitiation for our sins because of His blood poured out at the cross.
