Gospel of Mark - Mark 13:14-23 - Prog 62

<p>In Mark 13:14-23 our study continues. Jesus is describing things to come to 4 of His disciples, Peter, James, John and Andrew. </p><p> In these verses our Lord speaks of the portion of time when an idol is set up in the temple. This incident was first spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Dr. Mitchell will explore this more in depth. </p><p> This time is called the great tribulation which is described by many of the Old Testament prophets as the day of the LORD. Here Jesus refers to this 7 year period of time, which John later writes about in the book of Revelation 6-19 in great detail.
