Description
Continuing from our last lesson, Jesus expresses His deepest heart’s desire to eat this very last passover with his disciples. Jesus, the very last passover, would become God’s passover, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Dr. Mitchell points out the passover as the remembrance of an event, while the Lord’s supper is the remembrance of a person, the Son of God, crucified for each one of us and raised again from the dead until He comes again. Our Lord confirms the difference between rulers and servants, between one who exercises authority and one who serves the savior. Jesus served His Father. “He who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him”. John 8:29 Let’s join Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, Luke 22:15. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message
