Going Behind the Scenes with Comfort Kills Media - DR. JAZZ

<p>In this segment, I go Behind the Scenes with Comfort Kills Media, Dr. Jazz aka Jasmine Sandoval. She is a woman of resilience, GRIT, perseverance, and a purposeful leader. Dr. Jazz wears many hats and is on the move to building a lastly legacy. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <br> <strong>WHO IS DR. JAZZ? </strong>&nbsp;<br> Jasmine is a 1st generation Asian-American born to Vietnamese refugees. With much uncertainty growing up in two vastly different cultural worlds, she struggled with her identity from a very young age. Being the only daughter in her Asian household, she was expected to learn the trade of her family’s business once she was able to safely hold needle and thread. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <br> Following high school graduation, breaking the mold and going against her parents’ wishes, she turned her back on a potential full ride university scholarship to enlist in the United States Army. While in training, she met her husband, also a Soldier, and married at the tender age of 19. Eager to start a family, she birthed her first child at age 21 and second child at 23, all whilst her husband was intermittently deployed to war, trusting her to raise the kids on her own until his safe return. Anxious to make up for the missed years of her higher education, she enrolled in a local community college taking 21 credit hours her first semester: ending the semester with a 3.89 GPA while raising two toddlers with a deployed spouse. To complicate things and put life into a different perspective, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2009. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <br> She is a leader in the Nursing industry and life learner who aspires to never become complacent. Her recent endeavors include becoming the Creator and Host of Comfort Kills, where she has continued to challenge the status quo by sharing inspiration story of unimaginable loss, unbelievable courage, and undeniable miracles. Jasmine inspires the empowerment of leadership, mindset, and transformation in the new generation of professionals. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <br> <strong>DR. JAZZ
