God Has Feelings and We Should CULTIVATE a Life that is Pleasing to Him!

He gets angry with the wicked everyday. He shows compassion. He is faithful, patient, and is fair and righteous and holy! He is not to be played with! And those who thought otherwise, quickly saw the error of their ways! This is why as born-again believers in Christ Jesus, we need to get a strategy and allow Holy Spirit to cement in us the way that is straight and narrow! You want to know how to cultivate a godly life? Study Psalm 101! King David gives us an outline and starting point to cultivate a God-centered life. He starts Psalm 101 by praising God for who He is and worshiping Him in truth. He resolves that he will be deliberate in the way that he follows the Lord. This psalm right here, speaks of the one who fears and loves God, this is their commitment and devotion to Him. This is the life of one who is consecrated, born-again and Spirit-filled! They have taken a stance! It is reflective of their hatred for sin and those who commit evil and tell lies! King David is making his intention clear: I will worship God in spirit and truth, and I will lead a life that pleases Him. Then he sets out a system for how he will accomplish this: 1. Remove Temptation 2. Hate Evil 3. Seek the Godly 4. Remove Ungodly People 5. Be Quick to Do What is Right Beloved, we too should have a similar mindset, that going forward, we will obey the LORD and seek out what pleases and displeases Him - and then do it! We are to not let sin rule in these mortal bodies! Pray and seek God for wisdom and discernment so that we, too, can have this same heart's desire as King David as he longs and steadfastly pleases his God! No longer shall we desire to sin and will make every effort, by the Spirit of God to be holy! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and B
