<p>George Foreman is a former heavyweight champion boxer, successful entrepreneur and pastor of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Houston, Texas. </p> <p>In 1973, Foreman defeated Joe Frazier to capture the world heavyweight boxing championship. After losing the title in 1974 to Muhammad Ali, Foreman became a follower of Christ and walked away from boxing in 1977 to become a pastor. In 1987, he returned to boxing and in November 1994, he defeated Michael Moorer to capture the WBA/IBF heavyweight championship for a second time.
