GBW #26: Train in Vain (On Deadly Ground / Braddock: Missing in Action III / Champagne & Bullets aka GetEven)

<p>Hello, and welcome to another episode of The Good, The Bad, and The What!? The show in which we discuss three films that we have deemed "good," "bad," or "what!?" within a subgenre, theme, motif, director or actor's filmography, and more!</p> <p>This week, Ryan and Chris dive into action movie vanity projects; films in which the star also directed (or had a very involved hand in the creative process). We start with 1994's "<strong>On Deadly Ground</strong>," the only film directed by <strong>Steven Seagal</strong> which is far more fascinating than it has any right to be (given that the notoriously egotistical and difficult Seagal made a film that's less about how he's the biggest, baddest [insert role here], but about environmentalism and the folly of big business). Then, we swing into 1988's "<strong>Braddock: Missing in Action III</strong>," <strong>Chuck Norris</strong>' problematic attempt to rewrite the efforts of the Vietnam War (directed by Chuck's brother <strong>Aaron Norris</strong>).
