Funkier Radio Episode 79 - Brown Sauce Guest Mix

Episode 79 very much lived up to the eclectic aspirations I have for this show. I knew what was coming for the guest mix, so I kept things nice and varied in the first hour, with plenty of old bits, a good few new bits and one or two weird bits. Plenty of lesser known stuff and steering clear of the bangers for the most part. Reckon my last track might split the room a bit too…? In hour 2 I handed things over to Michael Brown AKA Brown Sauce, a DJ from Dorset who’s now living in Cornwall. He was a resident DJ at The Nook cocktail Bar in Weymouth as well as hosting a 'Smooth Sounds' sunday show on local radio, and he Loves anything groovy and funky - from classics to little hidden gems! Michael’s set is all over the place in the best possible sense, blending together all sorts into an immensely fun melting pot of styles. We’ve got reggae, hip hop, quirky beats, worldwide grooves, funk and more. It’s expertly mixed together, but you have no idea what’s coming next, and I love that. Finding the funk from different corners of the music world is exactly what this show is all about, and Brown Sauce has done us proud on this one.
