Description

TODAY a frosty start tomorrow will turn to warming afternoon temperatures to around 70 under sunny skies. Tomorrow and over the weekend the area will see upper-level northwest and westerly flow as a ridge builds over the Rockies then moves into the Plains resulting in afternoon temps in the 70’s, lows well above freezing and continuing dryness. The 10-20 degree above normal temps and dry conditions will stay with us heading into the extended forecast next week. There will be two short-wave troughs and low pressures that will move over the top of the ridge, with the first being Saturday night and Sunday. Not a lot of moisture to work with so at best maybe some early AM sprinkles Sunday and a bit cooler with temps back into the 70’s Monday.
