From Autopilot to Authentic with Brett Blair

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brett Blair is the founder and president of Best Life Global, LLC., a coaching and consulting company providing business growth, leadership and executive coaching, training and organizational consulting services. Brett is also founder of Sanford Rose Associates-Brighton, an executive search firm headquartered near Detroit, Michigan. Brett helps executives, business leaders, and teams to improve business performance while achieving balance and growth in their personal and professional lives.</span></p> <p><strong>What got you to where you are now? (02:55)</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;"> I’m pretty outgoing and loved people and very driven </span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;">I chose to be an engineer for about my profession, went to the university of Missouri, an engineering degree, got a job. Right out of college and hated it and engineering</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;"> I got my MBA as fast as I could and moved into non-technical roles and then met a girl, got married and spent 20 years in a corporate environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;"> I woke up one day with kind of an epiphany that what I'm doing at work is not making a difference.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Is your book based on what you’ve learned from Dr. Tom Hill?  (10:14)</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;"> Yes, it's a memoir. The last 10 years of my life, and some part of Dr. Tom Hill as well</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;"> I wrote it to honor Tom</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style= "font-weight: 400;"> And as Tom says, I have a moral obligation to make a positive difference in the life of every person.</span></li> </ul> <p>
