Free Will and the Assyrian King (Isa. 10:5-19)

<p>Debates about God's sovereignty and man's free will quickly move away from Scripture toward the rationalistic conclusions of theologians. But we are safer to let God's Word (rather than man's) inform our thinking. Isaiah's prophecy about the king of Assyria has something to teach us about God's "free will" and ours.</p>
