Free Autism Awareness Webinars To Get Underway In Clare

A new Autsim awarness initiative getting underway in Clare this week is mooted to have a major impact on people's lives. Starting from 8:15pm this Thursday, Clare County Council will be supporting four free weekly webinars throughout the month of October that will offer training on the condition to community and voluntary groups. Currently one in every 65 children of school age has an autism spectrum diagnosis. Autism Spectrum Consultant from Inagh, Dr Susan Crawford who will be hosting the webinars says the event will enable many more people to get diagnosed.
