Fourth Sunday of Advent, December 24, 2023, 10:45 A.M. Sunday Worship Service

<p>Welcome to our worship service at Stony Creek UMC! We hope that you will feel comfortable and accepted in any and all interactions with our faith community, and please know we hold no expectations on your level of participation (if any). It is our hope, first and foremost, that you know just how much God loves you, just the way you are. We believe that since we are made in the image of God, we are ALL beautiful just the way we are, and that God&#39;s love for ALL people is unconditional and unending. You are a beloved child of God and a sibling of Jesus Christ, freely offered God&#39;s perfect love and amazing grace.</p> <p><br></p> <p>This is the fourth Sunday of Advent and we are continuing in our Advent/Christmas sermon series, &quot;Where We Belong.&quot; Last week, Pastor Michael preached about home and whether or not we can truly &quot;go home again,&quot; especially when trauma or tragedy have befallen us. Pastor Michael is always striving to connect Scripture with our daily lives, and encourages everyone to ask questions and try to be willing to re-examine our theology and understandings of God and the world. Also today during our worship time together we will be singing some songs, sharing in some liturgy (don&#39;t worry, it&#39;s all in the bulletin - see link below), lifting some prayers, and hearing some Scripture readings.</p> <p><br></p> <p>If you ever have any questions, or just want to chat, please jump into the chat alongside the video feed on Facebook.
