Ex-Super Eagles midfielder, Olofinjana lauds quality of play in NNL

<p>Former Super Eagles midfielder, Seyi Olofinjana said he was impressed with the quality of play in the Nigeria National League matchday one game involving Smart City and Edel.</p>, <p>The match at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos ended in a 1-1 draw.</p>, <p>Smart City youngster, Chinonso Uzoma opened the scoring in the 20th minute of the game before Arinze Anya levelled up for Edel in the second half.</p>, <p>Olofinjana commended the NNL hierarchy for their initiative in making the league attractive.</p>, <p>“I’m impressed with what I saw in the game between Smart City and Edel,” he told NNL media.</p>, <p>“Good officiating, fine football artistry by very young players paraded by the two teams. The organisers of the league are doing a good job also.”</p>, <p>The matchday two fixtures of the league will continue this weekend at different centers across the country.</p>
