It’s been a year since the Burmese military carried out a coup. Since that time, the Burmese people have faced persecution, extrajudicial imprisonment, and severe restrictions on their freedoms. Despite the Burmese military’s best efforts, the Burmese people have demonstrated their resilience, fighting to defend freedom in their country.
