<p>Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag’s relationship with defender, Raphael Varane has ‘broken down’ after a ‘frank’ exchange between both men following the Dutchman’s decision to leave the former Real Madrid star out of the Manchester derby.</p>, <p>Despite injury to Lisandro Martinez this season, Varane has lost his spot as a regular starter under Ten Hag as the Red Devils boss prefers to play Jonny Evans.</p>, <p>Varane had expected to start the Manchester derby but was benched in favour of Evans.</p>, <p>That was the final straw for the former France international, who made it clear to Ten Hag how angry he was according to the Daily Mail.</p>, <p>Varane has only made three substitute appearances since the derby, despite Evans being injured.</p>, <p>As a result, the 30-year-old has been linked with a January transfer move to Bayern Munich.</p>, <p>Varane joined Man United from Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid in 2021.</p>, <p>Meanwhile, Ten Hag had fallen out with Jadon Sancho, who is now set to leave the club next year.</p>
