EPL: Scott McTominay reveals what Ten Hag told him before scoring two goals against Brentford

<p>Manchester United midfielder, Scott McTominay has revealed what his manager, Erik ten Hag told him before he scored a brace against Brentford during both teams’ Premier League tie on Saturday at Old Trafford.</p>, <p>Recall that McTominay came off the bench to score two late goals as Man United defeated Brentford 2-1 at home.</p>, <p>Speaking after the game, the Scotland international said Ten Hag told him to go into the pitch and score against the visitors.</p>, <p>“It was very loud, the fans were roaring us on so I could not hear fully,” McTominay said at his post-match interview when asked what tactical direction he received from Ten Hag.</p>, <p>“He probably said something like: ‘Go on and score,’ which is what I did.</p>, <p>“That might be one of my favourite moments on a football pitch. Two goals at the death was incredible, but I am just happy to be able to contribute and show people that I can do it.”</p>
