EPL: Arteta takes decision on signing Raya permanently for Arsenal

<p>Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has decided to sign David Raya on a permanent basis for the Premier League club.</p>, <p>This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday evening.</p>, <p>Raya arrived at the Emirates in an initial loan deal, but Romano has explained that it was due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.</p>, <p>Arsenal will now trigger the £27million buy option clause in 2024.</p>, <p>Romano tweeted: “Understand Arsenal have decided to seal David Raya deal in 2024 — it’s all guaranteed as buy option clause will be triggered for £27m.</p>, <p>“Raya already signed potential long-term contract as #AFC player for June 2024 — all done.</p>, <p>“Brentford accepted this structure due to FFP.”</p>
