Episode 67 - Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus review pt1

<p>When we started this podcast we thought we&apos;d have to dig deep to find some dating books with horrible advice, but after reading a few of them we&apos;re convinced just scratching the surface will get us more than enough content for years to come. Case in point - <em>Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus</em>, a loving 1990&apos;s guide that puportedly bridges the impossible divide between how both sexes love and communicate. We start in this part by discussing the weird background of the author, some weird oversights in his work, and the first few sections which discuss how trying to change your partner is silly and  <br/><br/>Joel also gets the chance to share his conspiracy theory that Steve Harvey&apos;s <em>Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man </em>cribbed heavily  from this text, which isn&apos;t actually that far-fetched when you put the pieces together. <br/><br/>We strongly urge our listeners to support the work of Planned Parenthood by donating <a href='https://www.plannedparenthood.org/planned-parenthood-arizona/donate'>here</a>.
