Episode 61 | Who Will Be Left Behind? (Matthew 24:40-41)

<p>In this morning broadcast, Captain Jon Gainey will present a case for a better biblical, theological understanding of John Nelson Darby's often accepted, but mistaken, explanation of Jesus' eschatological teaching in Matthew 24:40-41. Darby's teaching, in the 1800s, has spread throughout some denominations in the form of what is called Dispensational Premillennialism, an eschatological theology that includes the concept of a premillennial rapture. </p> <p>Captain Gainey will be referring to his own book entitled, "Swim: Into the Jewish Depths of the Christian Bible," as a resource for the presentation, which will include multiple Scripture passages.</p>
