Brennen Hodge, now CEO of Citizen Health, discusses with me a major case of fraud in pharmacy that is now settled in Mississippi. He shares with me what he saw, how some of his work was used in this and how the PBMs use this software to maximize profit at the expense of patients. We do a bit of a deep dive here and see just how much analytics they can use to ensure they are squeezing every penny out of our healthcare system for their own bottom line. This was a very eye opening episode for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this discussion around the bad actors and insight Mr. Hodge provided.
