Episode 315: Brendan Cooney Talks about the Upcoming Saint Patrick Irish Hooley

<p>Brendan Cooney, the president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Alexandria, talks about the upcoming Saint Patrick Irish Hooley, a lively afternoon that honors and celebrates Irish heritage with food, music, singing and dancing. Families and children of all ages are invited to enjoy the festivities on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. in The Basilica School of Saint Mary Gym, 400 Green Street, Alexandria.</p> <p>Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children. They are available for purchase by clicking <a href= "https://forms.ministryforms.net/viewForm.aspx?formId=8a1fb59b-e320-4bfa-a7ad-db5e678bf543"> here</a>.</p> <p>The afternoon will feature performances by local Irish musician, Pat Garvey; the Boyle School of Irish Dance; the O'Neill James School of Irish Dance and a visit from Saint Patrick himself!  Traditional Irish fare, including shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage, will be catered by Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub.</p>
