<p>In today's Walnut Wednesday show, we highlight the upcoming <a href='https://www.wcngg.com/california-tree-nut-conference/'>Tree Nut Conference</a>, which will be held November 3 at the Tulare Fairgrounds. Industry leaders will gather to talk about the future of the tree nut industry. California Ag Secretary Karen Ross will outline priorities for CDFA, including soil health, carbon sequestration, and IPM, and how the agency will support nut growers in implementing those priorities.</p> <p>In today's show, we also hear comments from US Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack on rural development. </p>
