<p>Father Nicholas Blank, a Parochial Vicar at the Basilica of Saint Mary, reflects on Saint Monica, the patron saint for the conversion of family members. Today, August 27th, is the Memorial of Saint Monica. This fourth century saint tirelessly prayed for the conversion of her pagan husband, Patricius, and her son, Saint Augustine, before their remarkable conversion to Catholicism.
