<p>Sophie Smekens is a musical theater student at the Hart School Of Music in Connecticut. She is passionate about authentically sharing the love of Christ with the people she is in relationships with. Though she has been following Jesus her whole life, she struggled when she was younger to put Jesus first instead of her community. She had a secret pride that snuck in thinking she was the "best" friend anyone could have, elevating herself over God. Maintaining this lifestyle was exhausting and inauthentic, so she realized she needed to make a change! Then, we give her a chance to read a letter to her younger self.</p>
