<p>I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY guest Patricia Kayser is the Founder of Autism&Music. When her brother Christian was 10 years old, she noticed that he had an interest in music. This motivated her to learn to play the guitar at age 20, as a way to spend more time with her little brother who has autism. <span data-ogsb= "white">Soon after, she noticed that Christian’s social, motor, and cognitive skills improved as he interacted more with instruments and new sounds. So, in 2013 Patricia founded Autism&Music, a nonprofit organization that builds a more inclusive and accepting society by hosting music, art, and sports activities for individuals with all abilities, in-person and online.</span> Discovering the strong connection between music and her brother Christian changed her life. Ten years later she’s determined to secure funding to develop a center to enhance the quality of life of individuals living with autism through the power of music<span data-ogsb="white">.
