Episode 064 - What You Can Expect from a "Cooling" Real Estate Market

We’re back talking a bit more about Emotional Intelligence and what agents today can expect from a cooling market and how that can affect our professional outlook. It’s no secret that the market we’ve been seeing has been bananas and even if it moves back to a more normal equilibrium that has more basis in history, it’s going to seem like a huge slowdown to most agents who don’t know any different. That’s not a bad thing! It’s just that success isn’t going to be the low hanging fruit that it’s been for the past few years, and it’s going to take a bit more work to get there. But what we want to stress and what we here at OTB still believe with our whole hearts, opportunity is still there, and Real Estate is still the best way to build wealth and create legacy. You just have to put the work in.   In a cooling market like this, knowing who you are and what is happening around you will be key. It’s about getting the best information you can to keep yourself well informed and being ready to implement those outside the box ideas when those opportunities present themselves.
