EP43: Your Questions Answered

<p>Thanks for joining me today.</p> <p>We all have had questions, from time to time, that deserved to be answered.</p> <p>Tough questions.</p> <p>Perplexing questions.</p> <p>Sometimes impossible questions.</p> <p><em><strong>It’s time they get answered.</strong></em></p> <p>First off, let’s start with a story…</p> <p><em>Not a STORY!!!</em></p> <p>YES, a short story.</p> <p>I can remember back in the day (before time itself) when you could simply go and visit your friends anytime you wanted.</p> <p>That’s right, I remember just dropping by anytime I wanted and [hey, guess what?] “it was ok”.</p> <p>Remember, these were my friends.</p> <p>Best friends.</p> <p>We liked being around each other, liked mostly the same things, and enjoyed the time we had with each other.</p> <p>This was the 1980’s.</p> <p>NOW though…</p> <p>It doesn’t work that way.</p> <p>Not at all!</p> <p>Today…</p> <p>You probably need to make an appointment or at the least call ahead.</p> <p>Just dropping by is not even a thing anymore. Too bad too!</p> <p>Similarly, there was a time when you could call someone, and hey, they would answer.</p> <p>NOW, you get the answering machine or voicemail.</p> <p>Websites…</p> <p>Don’t get me started.</p> <p>When was the last time you tried calling someone from a phone number on a website, and you talked to a human being?</p> <p>Right now you may be asking yourself, “what does this have to do with answering my questions?”</p> <p>The point is this.</p> <p>It is VERY difficult to get answers to questions you and I have when everyone has stopped being present.</p> <p><em><strong>Don’t Call Me!</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Don’t Text Me!</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Don’t Email Me!</strong></em></p> <p>Online, people [solopreneurs] cannot devote ALL their time to answering a phone and dealing with issues and problems. Yes, they still need to be running a business. [not a great excuse, but it's factual]</p> <p>But back in the 1980s, I really liked being able to drop in and have human interaction whenever
