Ep3 "Do we dare to have a feminist economy?" with Hon. Elisabeth Moreno
Alicia Tite sympa
Description
We ask the question to the then VP Africa of HP, now Minister Delegate for Gender Equality, Diversity & Equal Opportunities, the illustrious Hon. Elisabeth Moreno - "is a women economy, BY women, FOR women, possible?" Ms. Moreno is highly respected for her work in gender equality and spearheading education initiatives with UN Women and the African Union for African women and girls - from the continent of her birth. She was in Africa for a very short time, as VP of Lenovo, but her impact on Africa will be felt for generations to come, let alone the work WE KNOW she must already be doing in her new French government role. At the time of this interview she was still VP of Lenovo Africa, and a few days later, on 6 July 2020, was announced as the Minister Delegate attached to the Prime Minister in the French government of Prime Minister Jean Castex. Her passion for gender parity and education of the girl child towards science and technology (STEM), is clear in this interview. When I introduced her, I said "She is nowhere near done in making a global impact on the world." I didn't realise at the time, how right I was! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fromafricatotheworld/support
