Continuing our quest with hearing voices and understanding Schizophrenia- this episode of THE SOS SHOW explores hearing-voices.org- an organization that supports the voice-hearers and their caregivers and is making efforts to create more awareness on voice-hearers globally. The organization currently is in 38 countries. We spoke to Kate Crawford who is a voice hearer and works for the organization and how they are trying to have open conversations around Mental illness. We talk about Kate's personal journey about hearing voices from an early age of 4 to now- but now she is more comfortable with her voices; her efforts to support other voice-hearers have helped her tremendously coping with her own life... www.hearing-voices.org is an important organization that one can reach out, to understand more about this least understood mental illness.
