Ep 50 | Acts: "Jesus Freaks: Then & Now"

Description

Jesus Freak was a pejorative term that was coined in the late 1960s to describe hippies who had been born again. They were counter-culture to everything that their previous lifestyle embraced, most notably the drug culture. Even today, now nearly a half-century later, we still see the ripple effects of their influence. Long before the Jesus Freaks, two thousand years earlier, Paul & Silas were charged with “turning the world upside down”. Although the charge was meant to be derisive, it was actually a compliment. They blazed the trail in being counter-cultural. How can we be a part of turning the world right-side up?

Part 50 from the "Acts: We're on a Mission from God" series.

North Chapel is a part of the Scottsdale Bible Church family Sunday Worship Services | 8:30am & 10am (Arizona Time) Join us live at www.nclive.net Previous Sermon Messages: www.northchapel.net/sermons-series
