Ep. 47 - Suicide brought them together | Briana and Michael

<p>Briana and Michael’s story is an example of how empathy can break the barriers of judgment and fear. The couple had been exchanging messages on a dating app not knowing that both their lives had been touched by suicide: she had recently attempted and he had lost his wife a few years prior. We would think that as soon as they learned about their shared stories, it would be the end of it, but what happened was the opposite. I recommend listening to it until the end.</p> <p>Briana contacted me through my website because the couple wanted to share their story so that others could maybe hear a different narrative that usually accompanies suicide, which is that it fosters loneliness and keeps people apart.
