His research focuses on financial innovation in the developing world, including the mobile money revolution that has taken place in Sub-Saharan Africa. Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University, he has published scholarly articles in Constitutional Political Economy, the Independent Review, and the Journal of Private Enterprise.</p>
