Which is quite complex even now in this day and age. </p> <p>Jenneh & I discuss all things being your own advocate, shame with chronic disease, and coming out as your own advocate and knowing there is no score card with chronic pain. </p> <p> </p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">About Jenneh:</span></p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Jenneh Rishe has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years and is the founder of <a href= "https://theendo.co/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Endometriosis Coalition</a>, a non-profit organization with a mission of spreading awareness and promoting reliable education for endometriosis. It took over 4 years, but Jenneh's medical background gave her the knowledge and skills to navigate how to finally get good care after she was diagnosed with endometriosis. With her love for healthcare, education, and teaching, Jenneh felt inspired to use her skills to help other women gain a better understanding of the disease. One way she does this is by contributing endometriosis content and working as a medical reviewer for </span><a class="editor-rtfLink" href= "https://www.healthline.com/" target="_blank" rel= "noopener"><span data-preserver-spaces= "true">Healthline</span></a><span data-preserver-spaces="true">. She is currently enrolled in a masters program to complete her master of science in nursing education. Her advocacy work and endometriosis journey has been featured in various media outlets such as Women’s Health Magazine, Vice Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and The Today Show. </span></p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Jenneh is originally from New Jersey but has lived in Los Angeles for the last 9 years.
