Ep. 23 - Telling Kids The Truth

<p>Children have a “Trust Radar”, which means they can pick up on clues and tells when it comes to you being honest with them.Telling children the truth - and modeling this behavior - helps build trust, respect, emotional regulation, information processing, and builds relationships. Being honest expands their world view outside themselves.</p> <p>Unfortunately bad things happen in life. It is important to help children gain the understanding and skills they need to weather a loved one’s illness, or even their passing.</p>
